Conestee Park

  • 840 Mauldin Road
  • Greenville, SC 29607

Conestee Park is for baseball and nature trails! The covered pavilion is one of Greenville Rec’s premier event facilities, with a seating capacity for 200, restrooms, electrical power, 2 grills, and ample parking. A large playground and open green space are adjacent to the pavilion and the entrance to Lake Conestee Nature Park is just 100 yards away.
Conestee Park was built in 1984 by the City of Greenville, and was originally called Greenville Municipal Stadium. The stadium served as the home of the Greenville Braves, AA Atlanta Braves affiliate, through 2004. Greenville County entered a partnership with the City to operate Conestee Park, and subsequently renovated the stadium and added four additional baseball diamonds adjacent to it, two of which are regulation size featuring outfield fences that mimic Camden Yards at Oriole Park and Nationals Park in Washington, DC. All fields boast batting cages and bullpens. Other unique park amenities include over six miles of nature trails, a corporate picnic shelter with seating for up to 200 people, and a spacious playground. Conestee Park now serves as the home of Greenville Little League and has successfully hosted events such as 2011 and 2012 MSBL shoeless Joe Classic, and 2012 and 2013 NCBA College Baseball Greenville Invitational. This park is located conveniently 1.5 miles from I-85 and 3 miles from I-385.
