Elizabeth York is the founder of the Music Therapy Program at Converse College. Before coming to Spartanburg, served as Assistant Dean and Coordinator of the Music Therapy Program at Utah State University. Her articles and book chapters have appeared in numerous academic publications including the Journal of Music Therapy and Music Therapy Perspectives. She served as Co-Director of the Ethics Board of the American Music Therapy Association. Her presentations at academic conferences include the World Congress of Music Therapy and regional and national music therapy conferences.
