Enrichment Day

What is enrichment? The AZA Behavior Scientific Advisory Group (BAG) defines enrichment as a dynamic process for enhancing animal environments within the context of the animals’ behavioral biology and natural history. Therefore, enrichment and environmental enrichment devices can be anything that enhances the natural behaviors of an animal. At the Greenville Zoo, our animals get a lot of enrichment to keep them healthy and happy. Come for a special day as the keepers celebrate all things "enrichment"!  Lions will pounce and monkeys will leap, while educators describe the behaviors and activities taking place. Be sure to not miss this exciting day of fun!
