Forks of the River Fly Fishing and Music Festival

IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE! 10/11/2024

Due to Hurricane Helene which has devastated many of our Fly Shops in WNC and Eastern TN. We are pivoting this year’s festival. The Friday portion will unfortunately be cancelled, as our staff and local fly tiers are still boots on the ground in recover efforts. We know we can not bring the Friday evening portion to life the way it deserves.

SATURDAY- WILL NOW BE FREE ENTRY which includes music, seminars, and a limited number of fishing focused vendors. Limited tickets will be available so be sure to register.

Our focus will be to support these fly shops and guide services and help them recover from damages and losses. We will be hosting information booths for all area fly shops and guide services who wish to participate. You will have a chance to support these small businesses, and for every $50 you spend booking trips, purchasing online orders and/or gift cards, you receive raffle tickets to enter 2-3 incredible fishing trips that have been donated. Ranging from an all inclusive West Virginia Small Mouth trip to a Big Sky Country Montana Trip.

The more you spend supporting these shops, the better chance you have at winning a Destination Trip!

12:00pm-1pm- Casting 101 Clinic with Kevin Howell

1:00pm- 1:30- Fly Line Presentation with Rio Lines

1:30pm-2:00pm- Small Creek Fishing with Hannah Overgaard

2pm- Casting Competition
