Homeschool Day - The History of Superheroes

Each Homeschool Day includes a guided experience in one of the Museum's galleries, hands-on activities in our classrooms, and all day admission to the Museum. Programs are multidisciplinary and support South Carolina state standards for social studies.

On May 18, explore when and why superheroes were created. We will look at their creators and how they have changed over time. So, join us as we travel through the 20th Century looking at real world events that shaped the superheroes we know today.

Advance payment and registration is required. To do so, please call (864)467-3100. One adult per family is free with additional adults requiring general admission. Students will be divided into the following groups: Elementary students (grades 1-5) and Middle/High School students (grades 6-12).
