Juneteenth Celebration

Come for an incredible Juneteenth celebration on Wednesday, June 19th at the 3rd annual Juneteenth at Unity Park presented by TD SYNNEX’s BRG, Beacon!

In partnership with the Urban League of the Upstate, The Greenville County Section of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW) and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), they are thrilled to invite you to a day filled with unity, reflection and celebration. The celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a parade from Falls Park to Unity Park along the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Following the parade, come for an engaging panel discussion of Martin Luther King Jr.'s impactful book, Where Do We Go From Here: Chaos or Community?, featuring national and regional speakers. The program will also include local musicians Loretta Holloway “South Carolina’s Official First Lady of Song” and Sincere, followed by a theatrical performance by South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities alumni.

McCoy's BBQ and Sassy Shaved Ice will be available outside the Prisma Health Welcome Center following the panel discussion.
