New Works by Ellie Richards

New Works by Ellie Richards from the Penland School of Craft is available to view from March 3rd to April 28th by appointment or during receptions on March 3rd and April 7th. New Works can also be viewed on Art & Light's website. The Art & Light Annex is located in the historic Flatiron Building at 1211 Pendleton Street in the Village of West Greenville.

Regarding this collection, Richard remarks: "Work and play are generally perceived as opposites, my position as an artist is to showcase the relationship as congruous. Chores, playtime, boredom, busyness, work; I use the cultural phenomena behind these topics to provide a familiar way to subvert expectation and establish new ways of perceiving the known, the repetitive, the banal."
