Night Hike at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve

Night Hikes at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve are the most popular event at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve! Spots are limited and will sell out fast so register as soon as possible.

Education staff at LCNP will give you a behind the "night time" scenes look at the Preserve. This is when the Preserve truly comes alive with a myriad of wildlife. The staff will use special spot lights to help you see the wildlife and educate you on the various nocturnal creatures that call this place home.

Flashlights will only be allowed to get you to and from your car. They will not be allowed during the hike itself. You will be walking over smooth and rough terrain in the dark. All ages are welcome as long as they are able to stay quiet for prolonged periods of time when asked.

This event is limited to 20 people and will take place entirely outside. In following with recommendations from the CDC and SCDHEC it  will be required that you wear face masks when physical distancing is not possible. Please do not attend the event if you are showing any symptoms of COVID.

In the event of severe weather they will cancel the event. Participants will be notified the morning of the event if it is cancelled.
