Phillis Wheatley Presents "Amnesia Remembers"
Phills Wheatley Association was found in 1919 in Greenville, SC. PWA is a community-service organization dedicated to assisting all people in Greenville and the surrounding areas to grow and develop to their fullest potential by providing educational, cultural, recreational, social, and health-related programs that promote self-sufficiency and enhance the quality of life. The late Dwight Woods Repertory Theatre is a catapult for children and young adults to showcase their talents through singing, dance, and acting.
Write and Director, Pat Styles, has been a product of Phillis Wheatley Repertory since 1993. Mr. Styles wrote his first play in 2007, which was his real-life story, titled "One Young Man's Struggle." Mr. Styles has written many plays since. His latest work, "Amnesia Remembers," speaks about the struggle with mental illness, something he has lived through his entire life with his mom.
"Amnesia Remember," is an important piece of work for Mr. Pat Styles, who is a part of Phillis Wheatley Association. As Phillis Wheatley Association embarks on its 100th (Centennial) Year Anniversary, under the direction of Executive Director, Pastor Darian Blue, we know that this play will inspire to the masses. "Amnesia Remembers" has twists and turns that will produce instant anxiety and will have every audience member on the edge of their seats with its powerful message.
