Due to storm damage from Hurricane Helene, some businesses in Greenville County are still without power. If you are traveling to Greenville, first check the SCDOT road conditions and call the companies you want to patronize.

Project Host Benefit Dinner

Join Restaurant 17 for a special benefit dinner for Project Host featuring the Project Host Chefs and students alongside Chef Haydn. Project Host is the Greenville Soup Kitchen, fighting food insecurity in the greater Greenville area by feeding the hungry, training and educating the un- and underemployed, and paying it forward through social enterprises. Project Host believes food insecurity can only be addressed by the whole community, and they engage the people of Greenville in every step of the process. Their programs support one another and all focus on giving back to the wider Greenville community. The Soup Kitchen depends on volunteers and can serve as a pipeline into the CC Pearce Culinary School. Their culinary students prepare meals for the Cooking for Kids program and have the opportunity to intern and work in the Project Host Bakery and on the HostMobile food truck. These social enterprises, in turn, invite the Greenville community to eat, drink, and be merry, all while giving back to Project Host. Their Gardening for Good program also runs on volunteers and provides their food programs with homegrown produce to bring nutritional value to their meals. Restaurant 17 is proud to help support with this 100% benefit dinner – come enjoy the fall season on the courtyard with sips and small bites!
