Recycled Jewelry Class

Celebrate Earth Day weekend with MAKE MADE jewelry!
Experience the healing power of hammering, torching, and redesigning your no longer worn but still precious *old gold or silver jewelry.

In this class, MAKE MADE jewelry will help you melt down YOUR metal, roll it flat and then cut, stamp and polish it into a new simple, everyday pendant.

Prerequisite: No prior experience needed! First timers welcome!

*PLEASE CONTACT THEM - AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE to inquire if your old jewelry is suitable for melting down!

• Old jewelry must be solid gold or sterling silver (usually jewelry has a quality/hallmark stamp) -- Plated and Costume jewelry can NOT be melted down.


• Stones must be removed in advance of class time (MAKE MADE can do this for a nominal fee - please contact them at least one week before class)

BYOW! Students are invited to bring their own bottle of wine to sip on while they work.
