This exhibit endeavors to tell the story of music in America by examining its artists, recordings, and technologies from 1775 to the present day. Sounds of America features a variety of genres and includes some exciting local examples.
Sounds of America reveals stories from the founding of the United States to the modern day, displaying a cross-section of genres, artists, and developing technologies for listening to and recording music.
