St. Patrick's Day Parade and Irish Festival
St. Patrick's Day has been celebrated in Greenville in many different ways since 1918, starting with a parade of soldiers in training at Camp Sevier and continuing on through the years with festivals, concerts, theatrical performances and even bicycle races.
In 2018, in order for this community celebration of Irish Culture to grow and take its rightful place as a marquee event in Greenville, members of several Irish community organizations came together to create the Greenville St. Patrick's Day Committee. They invite you to join them in celebrating Irish heritage, civic pride, faith, family, friendship and tradition.
The Parade begins at 11 am, following the Christmas Parade route from County Square to NOMA Square. The festival will be at NOMA Square from noon until 6 pm.
The Parade will have multiple pipe and drum bands and marching units in the parade, which will be the largest in the 7 year history of the parade, and have a full slate of live music, family friendly games and attractions, arts and crafts vendors, and Irish food and beverage available.
