Sunday Sit-Down Supper with Charles Davis

Once a month, they set a long table down the middle of the store, invite an author and put on a literary supper like no other. After-hours, up-close and personal, these dinners are unique experiences designed to bring what you’re reading off the page and onto the plate. Seats are limited, and the ticket price includes four courses, a thoughtful beverage pairing, an evening’s conversation with the writer, and a copy of the book to take home.


On November 4th, they’ll be hosting Furman’s own First Gentleman Charles Davis with his In The Kitchen At White Oaks, a look at the university president’s house through the recipes of its inhabitants. This is a cookbook in stories, and sure to inspire stories for the evening as well. Dinner will be provided by Furman’s own executive chef Chris Harris, based on recipes from the book. Join them for a very informative good time with friends from Furman University.
