Upstate WeatherFest 2024

Come to the Upstate WeatherFest on Saturday, October 5, from 10 am-2 pm at the GSP Airport. This event will be hosted by the Upstate Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS), and they gratefully acknowledge their partners at the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport for accommodating the event! 

There will be a variety of different vendors, including TV meteorologists, emergency management and first responders, aviation groups, forestry partners, NC and SC State Climate Offices, a CoCoRaHS booth, and ARES. There will also be representatives from UNCC, UNCA, and Clemson for students interested in STEM careers, as well as activity booths with hands-on STEM activities for the younger kids. There will be food trucks and a weather balloon launch as well!
