Wine & Class Club

Join Keipi for a new Georgian wine each week, a tasty appetizer style dish, some good fellowship and then a podcourse. They will, in essence, sit and talk out a philosophy course. Homework not allowed! This is heavy things... lightly! As in wine and cheer and good spirits.

This in-person wine tasting and participatory philosophy class offers a unique communal experience while looking at love in our human past. John Heers, world traveler, teacher, entrepreneur, and founder of the non-profit First Things Foundation hosts the event. The class discusses and explores the history of love as understood by modern psychologists, 18th and 19th century Enlightenment philosophers, 17th century Protestant Europeans, 1st Century Greco-Romans, ancient biblical Jews, Vedic Hindus, traditional Buddhists, native worshipers of nature, Eastern Taoists, Catholic and Orthodox Christians, traditional Muslims and finally those who seek to find love in the pursuit of American pop-culture.
