Greece's ancient grape growing culture extends more than 6,500 years. Although the grapes may be difficult to pronounce, the wines are as approachable and welcoming as the Greek goddess Hestia, keeper of hearth and home.

Join CHI for an inaugural wine education series that's designed to provide straightforward wine knowledge for the curious beginner and well-versed connoisseur. Learn from Advanced Sommelier Eric Cooperman in the beautiful new facilities at Greenville Tech's Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center for the classroom portion of the evening, and then head next door to La Rue Fine Chocolate to continue the conversation after class. La Rue is offering a discounted rate for CHI course participants on a tasting flight of wines demonstrating typicity of each week's subject, and Eric Cooperman will be available to answer questions as you taste.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Eric Cooperman is an Advanced Sommelier certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Master Diploma candidate with more than 20 years of experience in crafting beverage menus and wine programs across the country. Eric's experience includes notable wine and beverage development roles at Urban Wren in Greenville, South Carolina, at the Thompson Hotel (Union Square Hospitality Group) in Washington, DC and at the Cliffs Communities in Greenville, South Carolina. Additional accomplishments include the following:
