Yoga in the Preserve

Join the teachers of Greenville Yoga for an early morning class suitable for ALL bodies. Classes will be centered around gentle movements that will help you find ease in your body, heart and mind that will carry you through your weekend.


The yoga sessions take place under the cover of the Shortleaf Shelter at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve. Please arrive by 8:50am to allow time for you to walk from the parking area to the location for class. If you are not parked by 9:00am there won't be anyone available to show you where to go for the class so if you are not familiar with the trails please arrive before 8:50am!


LCNP is grateful to partners with Greenville Yoga in this program. They provide a warm community gathering place that allows you to slow down and take time for self-care. They host wonderful teachers who have a depth of knowledge and years of experience; creating a safe place of healing, open to all. They offer inspired, affordable, classes for all ages and abilities. Greenville Yoga is dedicated to serve locally through acts of charity and volunteerism.


WHAT TO BRING


Please bring your own mat, bottle of water, and face mask.


WHERE TO PARK


Please arrive by 8:50 am as there is a short walk from the parking area to the location for class. The address of the parking area is 601 Fork Shoals Rd. Please type that address directly into your GPS. Searching for LCNP will give you different results.


SAFETY AND COVID


Participants will be set up 6 feet apart from each other. Face masks will be required when not practicing physical distancing.


WEATHER AND CANCELLATIONS


This event is rain or shine! You will be under the cover of a picnic shelter. In the event that severe weather is forecasted they will cancel the event. Participants will be notified the night before if the event is cancelled due to weather.
