Conestee Park

Once the camping grounds of the Cherokee tribes, Conestee is now home to one of Greenville's favorite nature parks and outdoor sports facilities.

With a capacity of 200 people (and ample parking for all of them), Conestee's Event Pavilion is the largest outdoor shelter that you'll find at any public park in the Greenville area. Here, you can cook food on 2 grills while your guests sit comfortably at the shelter's many picnic tables, relax on the pavilion's spacious open lawn, or stroll along the park's paved walking loop. Have guests with young children? Tell them to bring their kids along and let them play on the 2 adjacent playgrounds! What about guests with furry, four-legged children? There's a dog park right next to the shelter with their name on it!

Conestee's Event Pavilion also has convenient access to the main entrance of Lake Conestee Nature Park, which is home to over 400 acres of nature trails, unique wetlands, and birdwatching stands.

This shelter is located just behind Conestee's baseball fields, which can be booked for additional fees. Information on booking full or half-day reservations can be found on the park's website.
