Chattooga National Wild and Scenic River

The Chattooga River forms the 40-mile western border between South Carolina and Georgia. With roiling rapids that span Classes I–V, the river has the region's premier whitewater rafting and kayaking. Meanwhile, a plethora of fish make it the perfect place for fly fishing. Mountain Rest and Long Creek are departure points for guided rafting trips.
