
VisitGreenvilleSC (VGSC) is a not-for-profit, membership-based, economic engine, and accredited Destination Marketing Organization (DMO). We proudly represent and serve the City and County of Greenville, South Carolina, the hospitality industry, and hundreds of small businesses. As Greenville's official sales and marketing organization, our primary goal is to enhance the long-term economic development of our community through increased visitor trips and visitor spending. Heath Dillard
President & CEO
Responsible for leadership and management of all daily operations in the mission to brand, market, and sell Greenville as a must-experience destination. Oversees implementation of long-range strategic plan and ensures that VisitGreenvilleSC meets or exceeds established goals. Serves as the key spokesperson for the organization, maintaining active communication with all tourism industry stakeholders as well as public and private constituents.

Brittany Doucett
Administrative Assistant
Provides administrative support to the VGSC President & CEO as well as the Commercial Strategy - Sales, Marketing & Communications, and Destination Experiences Teams. Responsible for handling front office reception and administrative duties, including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and meeting scheduling.

Michelle Guevara
Director of Destination Experiences
Leads and supports the Destination Experiences Team in providing membership engagement and quality guest experiences. Additionally acts as the liaison between local resources and VGSC’s meeting and event clients by helping them plan and host a successful event here in Greenville.

Joanne Karkkanen, Simpleview Mentor
Member Experiences Specialist
Focuses on strengthening partnerships with current members, and acts as their first point of contact. Gives HappyNet training and support, builds relationships with new members and organizations, and keeps the database up-to-date. Fulfills member invoicing renewals and compiles content for event collateral.

Savannah Karkkanen
Visitor Experiences Specialist
Welcomes visitors and provides them with an orientation to Greenville, giving information and answering questions about events, things to do, and more in the city and surrounding areas. Acts as a receptionist and greeter for guests.

Linda Biersack

Leads the Marketing & Communications Team in delivering a fully integrated marketing and communications program with the goal of increasing awareness of, and visitation to, Greenville, South Carolina – one of the fastest growing (and most talked about!) destinations in the Southeast.

Stephanie Thorn, Simpleview Master, PDM
Senior Marketing Manager
Oversees and manages the official Visitor's Guide, VisitGreenvilleSC.com, the eStore, all integrated tourism software (CRM/CMS/eMarketing, etc.), and provides marketing support for the Destination Experiences Team.

Taylor Lucas
Marketing Manager
Oversees development and implementation of eMarketing and group sales marketing efforts.

Social Media Marketing Manager
Manages all VisitGreenvilleSC social media strategy and implementation, as well as execution of daily and campaign tactics, including creating and posting content to VisitGreenvilleSC’s social media profiles. Also responsible for engaging with social media comments, questions, and private messages.
