For more than 30 years, the family behind Headwaters Outfitters has been discovering, planning, and taking their customers on memorable trips across the French Broad River watershed in Western North Carolina.
Headwaters is the area's top resource for family-friendly paddling, tubing and fly-fishing excursions. You won't regret taking a short day trip to Rosman, North Carolina to explore our area's great outdoors! The shop is loaded with top of the line paddling and fly fishing gear, gift shop items, local goods and more.
Directly beside the paddle and fly shop sits "Forks of the River Taproom"; a local and visitors favorite watering hole that is proud to showcase 12 rotating taps, all brewed along the French Broad Watershed! Drafts, cans and bottles, as well as to-go beer is available.
Food trucks are open April-October.
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.
