Upcountry History Museum

Take a walk through three centuries of Upcountry South Carolina history and experience the stories of people who shaped this region through semi-permanent interactive exhibits and dynamic programming for all ages. Three changing galleries host temporary national traveling, and award-winning in-house exhibitions. Located at Heritage Green in downtown Greenville, SC.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm | Sunday- 1pm - 5pm | Monday - Closed - Ask about private access/tours.

Seniors (65 and up) and college students with ID $11
Children ages 3-18 $9

  • Description With its historic building facades and horseshoe staircase, the Museum’s lobby presents a unique backdrop for any occasion. This space, which includes the entire first floor, is suitable for groups of up to 150. There is space for a band and dance floor as well as a bar and food service. Two full floors of the Museum including the Mezzanine and the three-sided balcony overlooking the first floor are suitable for guests up to 500.
