Owned and Operated by founder Charlie McMullen and his wife Dana, Blockhouse has been Greenville’s favorite restaurant and oyster bar for over four decades.

Since opening its doors on Augusta Street in 1981, the establishment has stayed true to the same goal: to serve the finest quality food available in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

From the raw oysters to the aged choice meats to the hand-cut steaks, all of the food is made from scratch with fresh, local ingredients. All meals are prepared in-house so if it takes a little longer to prepare your meal, don’t worry, you know you’re only getting the best.
