Greenville Humane Society

The Greenville Humane Society is the 2nd largest no-kill shelter in the Southeast. It is a destination for animal lovers and a place where all animals are cared for compassionately. They offer services for both pets and shelter animals, from affordable services including vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm medications, to adoption and retail offerings. They also have one of the largest low-cost spay and neuter clinics open to the public in South Carolina.

With its strong history, reputation and state-of-the art facilities, the Greenville Humane Society impacts not only the Upstate, but the wider southeast region as a leader and model in animal care expertise. The Greenville Humane Society is home to the Healing Place, the only shelter treatment facility in the southeast dedicated to the care of sick and injured homeless animals treating over 2,300 annually. They are a community supported private non-profit which does not receive government funding and relies solely on donations and sponsorships to care for over 6,000 animals each year.
